Lab Ergonomic Tip #3 from Mayo Clinic’s Laboratories

A common ergonomics issue faced by clinical laboratories is removing caps or lids when working with a large number of test tubes or vials. In this video, Mayo Clinic’s Virology Laboratory shares a hint on using a cordless drill and a custom drill-bit to quickly remove caps, eliminating the repeat motions that could quickly lead to wrist strain.
