Mayo Clinic Recognized by USCAP for Its Participation at 2013 USCAP Annual Meeting

The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) has recognized Mayo Clinic for its participation in the 2013 USCAP Annual Meeting held in March in Baltimore. Mayo Clinic was one of the top 10 programs in the world for number of first-authored scientific abstracts submitted for the prestigious Stowell-Orbison Awards Competition for pathologists in training. More than 2,700 scientific abstracts were submitted from more than 400 different medical school programs and academic institutions.

Mayo Clinic was also in the top five percent of all medical institutions of first-authored scientific abstracts accepted for presentation at the annual meeting. Mayo Clinic was represented with 17 proffered paper presentations and 68 poster presentations.
