Mayo Clinic to Host Three Educational Symposia at AHA Scientific Sessions 2014

aha2014(2)The American Heart Association Scientific Sessions, being held in Chicago from Nov. 15-19, is the leading cardiovascular meeting for basic, translational, clinical, and population science. It features more than 5,000 presentations, 1,000 invited faculty, 4,000 abstract presentations, and 200 exhibitors.

Scientific Sessions programming is designed to improve patient care by communicating the most timely and significant advances in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease from many different perspectives.

Mayo Clinic is hosting three educational symposia at AHA Scientific Sessions 2014:

Genetics and Genomics in Cardiovascular Disease: An Update With a complimentary dinner served, this symposium on genetics and genomics in cardiovascular disease will explore the important role of genetics in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the heart and major blood vessels.

Hot Topics in Arrhythmia Management: What the Practitioner Needs to Know – A Case-Based Discussion

Experts will use a case-based approach to provide concise updated information in important topics in the management of atrial fibrillation, idiopathic ventricular tachycardias, and non-responders to cardiac resynchronization.
