Above are the two payment areas of the Business Office; at the bottom are two comparable areas (counter file and tube central) for behind-the-scenes Business Office work in old and new quarters. Both sets of pictures illustrate important reasons for the Clinic’s 1950–54 building program, which included more agreeable waiting areas for patients and more efficient working areas for Clinic people.
