The Mayo Medical Laboratories Information Technology (IT) team is preparing to implement substantial upgrades to our server hardware. The new servers will improve reliability and performance of many of our webpages and web applications.
Begins: Saturday, December 5, at 5 p.m. CT
Ends: Sunday, December 6, at 12 a.m. CT
This upgrade will result in a temporary outage to many of our web-based services and systems
- Joint Test Catalog
- Profile Manager
- Content Engine
Ordering/Test Results Impact:
- MayoLINK orders placed before 5 p.m. on December 5 will be queued until the upgrade is complete. This will result in delayed processing for orders and results. Clients can place manual orders by calling MLI; however, the orders cannot be processed in the system until the upgrade is complete.
- MayoACCESS ordering and results will not be affected by this upgrade.
The IT Implementation Team has established a command center and will have staff available during the upgrade. The command center will remain in place during the following week to monitor all related systems.
A notification of the upgrade will be posted on MayoMedicalLaboratories.com, and additional communications will be sent prior to the start of the outage and again when it is completed.
