Congratulations to Andrew Norgan, M.D., Ph.D., and Ramin Zargham, M.D., Ph.D., for their success at the 2016 American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) annual meeting held in Las Vegas.
Dr. Norgan submitted a second poster at the conference, “Mayo Clinic PathWays: A Collaborative Platform for Global Pathology Education,” was a finalist in the oral abstract category. Dr. Norgan’s poster entitled, “Rapid Implementation of an Open-Source Virtual Microscopy Application for Pathology Resident Education,” took first prize for “Best Education Practice Poster.”
Contributors to Dr. Zargham’s poster include Fazi Amirahmadi, Ph.D.; Siavash Toosi, M.D.; John Van Arnam, M.D.; and Pingchuan Zhang, B.M. Dr. Zargham’s poster entitled, “Improving the Pathology Reports Dictation,” was selected as a finalist in the “Best Education Poster” category.
