A 48-year-old female presented with GI bleeding. CT scan revealed a mass measuring 2 cm located in the second part of the duodenum. Endoscopically, a polypoid nodule (Image 1) was identified. Histologically, two distinct morphologic areas were seen (Image 2). Immunohistochemical stains showed strong S100 expression in the spindled cell area (Image 2, top left) while the epithelioid area (Image 2, bottom right) expressed chromogranin A and synaptophysin.
