Bobbi Pritt, M.D., Medical Director of the Clinical Parasitology Laboratory and Co-Director of Vector-Borne Diseases Laboratory Services at Mayo Clinic, discusses ticks and Lyme disease. Watch the video clip on KIMT 3 News.

According to Dr. Pritt, "Ticks have a two-year life cycle, so if a tick acquires Lyme disease the prior year, and now they're coming out after winter, they're infected."
